This is the first drawing I made during my residency at MacDowell. The text in this drawing is based on an ice storm that had me considering the hidden dangers in black ice and related issues of balance and equilibrium.

My work at MacDowell was a continuation of my series "Observations, errors, and corrections" - with the addition of direct observations from my surroundings.
